Morning Sickness is the feeling of headache like, nausea, and vomiting that normally happen in the morning until afternoon. In some women, such symptoms even continue the whole day. What Causes Morning Sickness
There is no certain cause of such sickness during pregnancy. However, doctors and gynecologists suppose that the increasing of progesterone hormone is likely the trigger. Progesterone makes the muscle become weak in order to ease the embryo attachment while at the same time have the effect of slow the performance of stomach and digestion.
The slowing of the stomach performance can increase the amount of the acid because it is not balanced with the movement of digestive system in transporting food. The excessive acid in stomach triggers the nausea and the urge to vomit.
Another possible cause is the increasing of human chorionic gonadotopin serum in the body. It is produced by the body after the embryo attachment and the level is continuously increasing up to the 12th week of pregnancy. Therefore, some women no longer feel any of the symptoms after the 12th week.
Generally, pregnant women have enhanced sense of smells which makes them sensitive to certain odors. This can also trigger vomiting as well. In addition, pregnant women can be easily stressed because of the sensitivity of things. Experiencing nausea and vomiting can lead to stress as well. These things are likely the trigger of experiencing more symptoms during pregnancy.

What Helps with Morning Sickness
It is normal that pregnant women experience nausea or vomit during pregnancy. Some doctors will recommend taking vitamin B6 and multivitamins to decrease the symptoms. However, there is no medical evidence so far that shows the correlation of vitamin administration with the decreasing the symptoms. Vitamin supplement seems to have a purpose that the pregnant Mom does not lack of vitamins due to losing appetite and vomiting.
Getting enough rest, water, and healthy snacks can be adequate balancer to deal with the symptoms. Psychologically speaking, the symptoms need to be opposed with healthy mind. Pregnant mothers should avoid getting too much stress and relax more. Therefore, some of pregnant women choose to quit working in order to keep themselves and their babies healthy.
